Ashley German

Administrative coordinator

Ashley German joined our team as our new Administrative Coordinator in June 2022. She is a first-generation American born in New Jersey to Dominican parents. She was raised on Long Island and has lived throughout the Boroughs of New York. She now resides in Harlem.

Ashley joined Chances for Children because she truly believes in the mission of our organization. She is excited to strengthen our administrative systems, share her knowledge, and develop and grow with Chances for Children.

Prior to joining Chances for Children, Ashley worked as a Case Manager at Urban Pathways, a social service organization for adults experiencing homelessness and living with mental illness. That work reminded her the importance of early intervention to prevent mental illness across a lifespan. Ashley’s passion for and knowledge about infant mental health will enable her to better support and understand the families that we serve.

Ashley received her bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo in sociology and with a minor in psychology as well as socio-medical sciences. In her spare time, Ashley volunteers, runs, plays volleyball, and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
